Regular Council Meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. In the months of July, August and December, one Regular Meeting of Council per month may be scheduled.
Any person wishing to have an item of business considered for the Agenda shall make their written submission to the Administrator not later than 12:00 noon on the Wednesday of the week prior to the meeting (09-2014, Section 6.3).
Members of the community are always welcome to attend meetings. They are also invited to speak during the Public Forum section of the meetings. A limit of three speakers will be given a maximum of five minutes each to address Council, and they must register their topic prior to the start of the meeting. The Public Forum is regarded as a communication section of the Agenda. Council will take all matters brought before them into consideration only; decisions may not be provided immediately.
