PUBLIC NOTICE – BY-ELECTION – by 12 noon on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, only one candidate had brought forward nomination papers for the vacant seat on Village Council. As a result, Fred Lindsay was declared elected by acclamation. Mr. Lindsay was sworn in prior to the Dec. 3 Council meeting. The village would like to congratulate Mr. Lindsay on his return to council.
Due to the resignation of Village of Wabamun Councillor Patrick Miles a by-election is required to fill the vacancy on Village Council. Notice of Nomination, Nomination forms and information for potential candidates is available at the Village Office and online at www.wabamun.ca.
