As per Advertising Bylaw 07-2018 07-2018 Advertising Bylaw the Village of Wabamun wishes to inform the public of the following upcoming bylaws, resolutions and public hearings :
NOTICE OF RESOLUTION
Take notice that pursuant to Section 70 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, Chapter M26, the Council of the Village of Wabamun is proposing to sell Lots 12 and 13, Block 7, Plan 8320786 to Parkland County for the sum of $10 for the purposes of constructing a new West Central Fire Hall to serve the region. The resolution will be considered during the regular meeting of Village Council on October 15, 2019 beginning at 6pm at the Village Office at 5217 – 52 St., Wabamun, AB..
A copy of the proposed resolution may be examined by the public at the Village Office at 5217 – 52 St., Wabamun, AB, during regular business hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.) Section 232 of the Municipal Government Act of Alberta designates which Bylaws or resolutions may be petitioned and Section 219 of the Act specifies the process for petitions. DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL NOTICE
The Village of Wabamun has received a development permit application, #2019-015 under Direct Control District Zoning for 5235 – 51 Ave., Wabamun, AB for the completion of a 4 bay office/retail complex, including interior, parking area, landscaping and utility installations.
As this area is zoned Direct Control, the Village Council will be holding a public hearing on the application at their regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, which begins at 6 pm at 5217 – 52 St., Wabamun, AB and will be rendering a decision on the application on that date.
Council will afford an opportunity to any interested person to make a verbal or written presentation on the application during the public hearing and shall take into account any such representations made when giving final consideration to the said application. Any written submissions to be included in the agenda package must be received at the Village Office by 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
